Michael J. Dolberg

Michael J. Dolberg is the CEO and a Founding Partner at Apollon Wealth Management, a collaborative and transparent financial planning firm focused on aligning client’s goals of growing and preserving their hard-earned wealth. Upon inception, Apollon set out to change the retail model for investments away from a product platform to one that is 100% client driven. With exceptional white glove service, Mike and the Apollon team have executed the founding partners’ vision of creating an independent organization with the sole mission of enriching the lives of others through concerted financial planning and guidance.

With passion and purpose, Mike and his team have created a launch pad for advisor independence built with a seamless transition process for clients. Driven to expand the firm’s footprint across the country, Apollon possesses a fully integrated advisor environment with centralized services (with a full operations, technology and marketing team) to help deliver multi-family office solutions with scale and a consistent client experience, onboarding and acquisition systems.

Mike has a huge passion for giving back to the community. He is a board member of Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital and is a devoted supporter of South Carolina Special Olympics (and past board member).  He and his wife, Kristen, reside in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with their sons, Benjamin, Beau, and Bradford.

Robert H. Gorman, CFP®, MSFS®, AEP®

Robert Gorman is the COO and Founding Partner at Apollon Wealth Management, a collaborative and transparent financial planning firm focused on aligning client’s goals of growing and preserving their hard-earned wealth.

Robert’s expertise has given Apollon an unmatched position in the marketplace to harness and leverage technology within a financial services organization. Through Apollon’s independent and innovative APEX planning process, Robert’s fiduciary duty and objective advice further drives the business in delivering highly customized wealth management solutions. With 15+ years in the field, Robert specializes in serving multi-generational families, entrepreneurs and executives with a concentration on estate planning for the high net worth sector. His passion is reflected within Apollon’s business model as he focuses on client communications and deliverables with absolute financial clarity. With a holistic and comprehensive investment approach, Robert is often called upon by other professionals (CPA’s, attorneys, etc.) and clients to articulate and actualize a customized path to successful wealth management.

A respected Principal/Wealth Management Advisor, Robert established his career at the Gorman Financial Group/Northwestern Mutual in 2004. Under his direction, the firm was voted “Best Financial Planner” by The Post and Courier and was a finalist for “Best Investment Firm” in 2016 and 2017. Robert earned a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from the American College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Wake Forest University. Professional certifications include: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®).

Born in Los Angeles, Robert spent a visible part of his childhood pursuing acting. After a successful run with roles in 10 films and 18 television series, he came to the east coast after high school to pursue his business degree.

Living in Charleston, South Carolina, Robert supports One80 Place, the Actors Theater of South Carolina and the Make A Wish Foundation. Robert and his wife, Tara, have three children: Ellie, Jake, and Julia.

Chief Investment Officer

Eric Sterner

Eric Sterner is the Chief Investment Officer for Apollon Wealth Management bringing with him 27 years of experience in finance. Eric’s last role was as Vice President and member of PGIM’s Strategic Investment Research Group’s (SIRG) Portfolio Construction team.  He focused on the discretionary management of multi-asset investment solutions which represented more than $65 Billion AUM.  Prior to this role, Eric served as the Chief Investment Officer for the Prudential Customer Solutions RIA and oversaw its digital and hybrid investment advisory managed account platform.   

Earlier in his career, Eric served as Managing Director within State Street’s Alternative Investment Solutions group where he was responsible for the performance and risk reporting services for hedge funds on its fund administration platform.  Previously, while with MetLife, he managed the proprietary and third-party investment advisory platforms for its broker dealer group and launched an advisory offering that was nominated by the Money Management Institute as “Product of the Year”. 

Eric has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Certificate in Performance Measurement (CIPM) designations as well as his MBA with Honors from the University of Massachusetts and his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut.  

Eric lives in New Jersey with his wife, Anne, and four children, Zoe, Piper, Caitlin, and Jack.  In his free time, Eric enjoys coaching his kids’ softball, baseball, and basketball teams, and has a long-term aspiration of running a marathon in all 50 states.  So far, Eric has completed 22 marathons in 16 different states.

Mike Herman

Mike Herman is the Chief Compliance Officer for Apollon Wealth Management. He has been in the financial services industry for more than 24 years and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day compliance.

Prior to joining Apollon, Mike spent over 10 years as the CCO for United Capital Financial Advisers, LLC and PFE Advisors, Inc. He was a critical member of their executive team, supervising the integration of over 60 acquisitions and growth of the firm’s assets under management from $1.2 billion to over $25 billion, through the sale of the firm to Goldman Sachs in 2019. Post-acquisition, Mike continued to serve as CCO for the acquired division and as a Risk Manager helping to normalize the division with the company’s suitability and reporting standards.

Before joining United Capital, Mike was the Director of Sales Practice & Transition for The Financial Services Network, an Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction, consisting of a large producer group of broker-dealer registered representatives and investment adviser representatives where he helped establish an investment advisory firm registered with the SEC. Mike’s other experiences include managing an Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction for Citigroup and serving as a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Gruntal & Co.

Mike holds a B.A in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany, FINRA Series 3, 4, 7, 24, 31, 53 and 63 securities licenses and the NASAA Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam. In his free time, Mike likes to spend time exploring new places with his wife and son.

Dawn Campbell

Dawn Campbell has been an executive in the financial services industry for over 25 years. She was the 1031 Exchange Director at AEI Capital where she pioneered one of the first securitized 1031 exchange products in the United States. She was also Vice President of Private Capital for Inland Securities where she educated and advised financial professionals and their clients on 1031 exchange tax deferral strategies. She is a national expert on all aspects of IRC section 1031 and DST investment products. She was a founding member of TICA (now known as ADISA) and has raised over $600mm in capital for securitized 1031 exchange products.

Dawn has also guided investors in various wealth management strategies as a financial advisor for Bernstein Global Wealth and Merrill Lynch. She was honored by Finance and Commerce Magazine as a top woman in finance and named woman changemaker by Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine.

Dawn holds a bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota.

Bri Andreoni

Briana graduated with honors from MacCormac College with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. She then went on to work for a small family law firm in Tallahassee, FL before moving back to Maine and joining Paul Spizzuoco’s Team at UBS Financial Services in 2001 as a Client Service Associate.  Briana is one of the founding members of the Apollon New England Team and is head of our Operations and Director of Client Services.  

Briana got the opportunity to spend her childhood living in a variety of different locales such as Taiwan, Singapore, Brussels, Belgium, London, Dubai, & Saudi Arabia.  She now lives in Rockland, Maine with her husband and their son.
