Robert H. Gorman, CFP®, MSFS®, AEP®

Robert Gorman is a Founding Partner at Apollon Wealth Management, a collaborative and transparent financial planning firm focused on aligning client’s goals of growing and preserving their hard-earned wealth. As one of the highest decorated advisors in the field (ranking in the top 1-2% in the nation by certification), Robert serves as Director of Financial Planning for the firm and has taken the helm of building Apollon’s unique trading platform.

Robert’s expertise has given Apollon an unmatched position in the marketplace to harness and leverage technology within a financial services organization. Through Apollon’s independent and innovative APEX planning process, Robert’s fiduciary duty and objective advice further drives the business in delivering highly customized wealth management solutions. With 15+ years in the field, Robert specializes in serving multi-generational families, entrepreneurs and executives with a concentration on estate planning for the high net worth sector. His passion is reflected within Apollon’s business model as he focuses on client communications and deliverables with absolute financial clarity. With a holistic and comprehensive investment approach, Robert is often called upon by other professionals (CPA’s, attorneys, etc.) and clients to articulate and actualize a customized path to successful wealth management.

A respected Principal/Wealth Management Advisor, Robert established his career at the Gorman Financial Group/Northwestern Mutual in 2004. Under his direction, the firm was voted “Best Financial Planner” by The Post and Courier and was a finalist for “Best Investment Firm” in 2016 and 2017. Robert earned a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from the American College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Wake Forest University. Professional certifications include: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®).

Born in Los Angeles, Robert spent a visible part of his childhood pursuing acting. After a successful run with roles in 10 films and 18 television series, he came to the east coast after high school to pursue his business degree.

Living in Charleston, South Carolina, Robert supports One80 Place, the Actors Theater of South Carolina and the Make A Wish Foundation. Robert and his wife, Tara, have three children: Ellie, Jake, and Julia.

Andrew C. Jaffee, CFP®, RICP®

Andrew works on behalf of clients to stay on top of the ever-changing planning landscape, cutting through the noise to help them make significant decisions. As a fiduciary acting in the best interests of clients his role is to help them define a clear vision and provide thought leadership around complex ideas and solutions in a simple, easy-to understand way that will help move the needle.

Retirees, entrepreneurs and medical professionals leverage his insights to mitigate taxes, enhance their portfolios and net worth, maximize income streams and both protect and augment their legacy. Andrew believes comprehensive financial planning and wealth management lies at the intersection of these various and oftentimes competing financial issues…..with one ultimate goal: For clients to live a life by design, not default.

A native of Charleston, South Carolina he graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business. Professional certifications include: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®).

Andrew serves as President of the PlayToday! Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization that fosters play opportunities for people of ALL abilities. He resides in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with his wife, Kristen, and their two children: Meyer and Jameson.

Michael P. Green, MBA, CFP®, RICP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CLTC®

A fiduciary acting in the best interests of clients, Michael provides clients the confidence to take the action that will move them closer to their financial goals, and frames complex concepts and ideas into solutions that are simple and easy-to understand.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University at Albany, and MBA from the Sage Graduate School, in Albany, NY. Prior to Apollon Wealth, Michael began his career in Financial Services in Charleston, SC with Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management, where he was part of the leadership team.

Professional certifications include: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING PROFESSIONAL™ (CFP®); Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) and the Certification in Long Term Care (CLTC®).

Michael supports The American Heart Association, The Alzheimer’s Association, and served as Trustee and Treasurer for Mason Preparatory School from 2014-2020. He resides in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with his wife Darcy, and their daughter Madeline.

Michael E. Lewis II is a Wealth Management Advisor at Apollon, and has been in the financial services industry for a decade. He is driven by the privilege of helping his clients’ families and/or businesses achieve a successful and secure financial future, and ensuring they enjoy the journey along the way.

Michael is born and raised in Charleston (yep, one of the remaining few). When not working, Michael can typically be found watching his 3 boys – Calib, Cullen, and Carter – playing various sports year round. On the off chance they don’t have a game, you might find him trying to find his ball in the woods of one of the local golf courses.

My focus when working with clients is to simplify their financial world. We live in a time of rapid change and seemingly limitless information that can easily become overwhelming. You work hard, prioritize family, friends and I’m sure have many other activities that require your time. How often do you take time to yourself to sit down and really look at what you want out of life? What are you saving for? Why do you have all those insurance policies? How does it all connect?

The first step in our relationship is to remove the noise and dedicate real time to identifying your goals. The sooner we identify what you’re working towards and why; the sooner we can maximize the efficiency of what you’re doing. In many cases, professionals are already assisting in key areas, but I’ve found it’s rare that the team communicates and the person in charge of overseeing everything is you. Our goal is to lift that burden from your shoulders and operate as the architect of your financial plan.

In addition to the knowledge I’ve acquired in the areas of investments, tax mitigation, insurance, and estate planning, I’m fortunate to have an experienced team behind me to collaborate with as we work towards delivering a comprehensive plan of action. Respected for his knowledge of current wealth management issues, Rob has been quoted by The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswire, has contributed articles on wealth management topics to local, regional, and national publications, was a guest on CNBC’s “Make Your Money Work” segment of their “Power Lunch” program, and was a featured SME speaker at multiple conferences and symposiums. He was named to Medical Economics’ exclusive list of “The 150 Best Financial Advisors for Doctors” and in 2000 received the prestigious “Ticker Ace Advisor of the Year Award for Best Educator” presented annually by the industry renowned Ticker Magazine to one advisor throughout the entire country demonstrating superior proficiency and skill in client education.

Rob is a serial entrepreneur – he founded a business exit plan consulting company, Integritas Transition Consultants, and created The Wealth Empowerment Formula™ – a comprehensive wealth management client advice delivery system.
Prior to joining Apollon Wealth Management, he was the Head of Office / Vice President of a regional office for Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, the Managing Director for a regional office for United Capital Financial Advisers, a partner at Compu-Val Investments, Inc. and an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University where he taught the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional Education curriculum.

He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed a course in
leadership excellence at the University of California at Berkeley. He also completed the CFP® Professional Education Program and the
Accredited Asset Management Specialist Program through the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
