NAEPC

The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC)

NAEPC was formed in 1962 and incorporated in 1963 as a nonprofit business league by 13 estate planning leaders from nine councils. The association’s core belief is that the team concept of estate planning best serves the client. Each program, benefit and service is developed with this single value in mind.

The NAEPC boasts over 260-member estate planning councils and provides services to their estimated 29,0000 individual members. In addition, the association has nearly 1,800 active Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP) designees with representation in nearly every state of the country. Professional are typically within the accounting, insurance, legal, trust services or financial planning fields, all with a focus on estate planning. All individuals obtaining the AEP designation must demonstrate a continued commitment to the team approach to estate planning and adhere to a strict code of ethics.

CEPC

Charlotte Estate Planning Council

The mission of CEPC is to promote the interest of the public by providing an educational forum for estate planning professionals from various disciplines and to foster cooperation and share ideas relevant to the estate planning process. CEPC is the Charlotte, North Carolina affiliate of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC).

NAIFA

National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers

 NAIFA is an association of professional real estate appraisers committed to the support of its members, for a service of trust and integrity that benefits the members, the profession, and the general public.

The association’s objectives are to raise the standards of the appraisal profession, exchange experiences and ideas to the betterment of the profession and the public, maintain and encourage a code of ethics of the highest standards for members, gain recognition for its members as qualified professionals, encourage educational pursuits for members in attaining a high standard of proficiency in their chosen specialty and promote fellowship among appraisers.

The Association was founded in 1961 as a nonprofit association of professional real estate appraisers. Today, NAIFA has chapters throughout the United States and Canada.
